Small Acorns is a Star-Trek Roleplay that follows the lives, dreams and aspirations of the many cadets - both young and old - who attend the illustrious Starfleet Academy.
James Kirk, Jean-Luc Picard, Benjamin Sisko, Kathryn Janeway and more... All the great captains and admirals started out here; attended lectures, took part in training missions, made friends and, eventually, graduated.

The nights are drawing in and the weather is getting colder. For the first year cadets though, it's time to dig out the sunglasses, because they're off to a field trip to Mars! What will await the cadets when they get there? Only time will tell.
Back on Earth, the Preparatory School students have been extended an invitation to go and tour the main Academy campus. Will they take up the chance to go and see where they might end up in the future? And what will they think of it if they do?

The Library Still referred to as the library, though there are few books in here! The largest study space on campus.

The Holo Centre Cadets can book time in the holosuites here at the main reception desk. Holodecks are reserved for training exercises and staff use only!

A Bite to Eat Want to get breakfast, lunch or evening meal, or maybe just a snack? Whether you're dining at the Comissary or something a little more upmarket, grab your food here!

The Administration Block Where all of the non-department-specific staff have their offices. Any threads where cadets meet with Admiral Jenkins will go here.
Out and About Fancy taking a stroll around the grounds? Write about anything around the Academy campus here.

The Holding Pen For RPs that are not quite finished yet, whilst the main plot moves on.
Threads should never be started in here; admin staff will move threads into here as appropriate.

Starfleet Academy Preparatory School
School Dormitories Where all the School's students stay. Just like at the Academy, rooms are shared between two people. The rooms are smaller than those the cadets get, and there are fewer lounge rooms. Otherwise, it's pretty similar.

School Canteen The only catering establishment on the school grounds. If you want to eat something else, go find a replicator.

Classrooms and labs Where all the school teaching takes place. Everything from lecture halls to classrooms, laboratories to mechanical garages.
Off Duty Chatter (1 sub-board) Chat in here about anything you like, out of character. Contains sub-board for suggestions, comments and absence notices. Post count off.
