Small Acorns is a Star-Trek Roleplay that follows the lives, dreams and aspirations of the many cadets - both young and old - who attend the illustrious Starfleet Academy.

The nights are drawing in and the weather is getting colder. For the first year cadets though, it's time to dig out the sunglasses, because they're off to a field trip to Mars! What will await the cadets when they get there? Only time will tell.
Back on Earth, the Preparatory School students have been extended an invitation to go and tour the main Academy campus. Will they take up the chance to go and see where they might end up in the future? And what will they think of it if they do?

Next story event: Field trip to Mars « Thread Started on Oct 29, 2009, 12:32am »
That's right, we're all going on a little journey to the red planet...
This field trip will be compulsory for all first year Academy students. Prep students can't go, sorry! This plot will be set in mid-November.
Whilst up there, the cadets will be doing some prearranged classes and lectures, and given a bit of time to explore the terraforming laboratories up there. There will be a bit of free time to explore more widely as well, for those that want to! The purpose of the visit is to learn about how and why the planet was terraformed so life could live there.
This new plot will start next week, once RL Halloween is over and done with. So, you've got a few days to finish up your Halloween party threads. All threads still active when we jump to mid-November will be moved to the Holding Pen so that you can finish them off and still post in the new plot, if you want to.
