Character's Name: Tirres
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Physical Profile Tirres has the typical Denobulan ridges running up the sides of her face, the ridged brow, and the vertical crevice down her forehead. She has long dark hair that she usually keeps pinned back in various styles. She enjoys doing her hair, giving rise to some interesting hair-dos. Tirres has a rather small round face, giving her a quaint, childish look.
Birthplace: Denobula
Career track: Prep Student
Personality: Tirres is outspoken and friendly. She always has a smile for everyone, and a nice word to say...well, the nice word really depends on who you are. Tirres stands up for those she loves, including her friends. She can't stand injustice, no matter who the person perpetrating it is, and will speak out against the perpetrator.
Tirres does, however, have some cultural blind spots. She thinks polygamy perfectly normal, which could cause some problems. She also doesn't understand English idioms very well, which could make her sound rather strange at times.
Background and History:
Tirres was born on Denobula to her mother's second husband, and her father's first wife. Like all Denobulan children, she grew up in the midst of a (very) large extended family. Her mother had twelve other children from all three husbands, but Tirres had plenty of friends both within her family and outside it. Her Uncle on her mother's side was a StarFleet officer. They saw him but rarely, but when they did, he would regale the children with stories of his life on board the starship.
Tirres thrived on these stories, and absolutely could not get enough of them. She learned how to contact her Uncle, and would do so whenever she could. She learned everything there was to know about StarFleet life- and then some. She was obsessed with the subject. Tirres was good in school, and her Uncle told her that if she maintained her grades, she might have a shot at getting into StarFleet.
With this hope, Tirres excelled. She was number one in her class, and got all-round good grades. When she graduated at 17, she went to two years of post-secondary school on Denobula, then took the entrance exam for StarFleet Academy. She passed with flying colors, and chose to travel to Earth early to get into the prep school, so as to have the most amount of knowledge possible before going into the actual Academy. And so it is that Tirres embarks on her first great adventure...
Name of Celebrity:Optional
Selena Gomez, if anybody can Denobulan-ize her.

Sample Roleplay:
Tirres licked her lips nervously. She sat in a small room with four other hopefuls. They were on Denobula, of course, and were going to take the exam remotely. She rolled her hands together, and mentally tried to calm herself down. If she didn't pass this time, she'd just have to retake the exam, that was all. The screen at the end of the room blinked, and a Human man in uniform came in.
He sat down at the desk, and slowly straightened the items on it before looking at the expectant young people in the room. "Are you ready?" nods came, and the man nodded as well. "Very well. When the first question comes up, you may turn your PADDs over and begin." he pushed a button, and the first question came up on the screen.
It was simple, easily answered, and Tirres tapped the answer in and hit send. It was sent automatically to the examiner at the desk, and appeared on his computer terminal. Tirres set her PADD down, and waited until the others were done. Once all answers had been sent, the next question was put up. This one was a bit harder, but Tirres concentrated and tapped in her answer...and waited.

Two hours later, Tirres and the other hopefuls quietly filed out of the room. All knew that the test scores would be posted on the following day, and some were certain they were in. Tirres was one of them. Some looked dejected, as if they knew they had already lost. Perhaps they had.
